???? in farsi posts

    Hi i’m trying to post in farsi on wordpress Farsi downloaded yesterday and set up with the language pack FA_IR and everything is working besides the posts in farsi, encoding is utf8 and all my posts end up with ????? instead of the farsi characters. the website is kheradpajooh.com/wordpress

    any help would be appreciated

    What you might need to do is in your .htaccess put in the line:

    AddDefaultCharset UTF-8

    hi The site is on a Windows 2003 Server so no .htaccess file.

    If its Apache on Windows you can enable htaccess support.
    If its IIS then you need to edit the web.config and if not exist place the file in the websites root directory. You will have to check IIS docs for specifics. I don’t do windows….
