    Hi there,

    Since updating to PHP 8.0 as instructed by the Ameila plugin, I have been experiencing issues with the Ameila plugin not sending any notifications (either test emails or booking confirmations). I have checked and made sure that the notification is linked to an existing event and done everything I usually would.

    Here are notes from our developer:

    1st update

    I carried out the updates for the site, as it’s not been updated since 01-12-22, and then upgraded the PHP to 7.4, but this created a fatal error. 

    I have downgraded the PHP to 7.3 so the site displays correctly and will have to investigate further before we can safely upgrade the PHP. 

    2nd update

    I’ve managed to update the plugins, ‘event-tickets’ and ‘the-events-calendar’ which were causing the error, and now the site is on PHP 8.0.

    Aside from this, I manage another client’s website with a similar set up, which I noticed is still operating at PHP 7.4.33 and has not received a message to update from Amelia (with the latest version installed) and is working fine.
