    The comments that I leave on other WP blogs are not showing up.

    It’s not a matter of needing to be moderated. These are blogs that I comment on regularly and my comments are automatically approved.

    It’s also not a matter of needing to refresh, because I try that too and the comments are not showing up. I even go back a day or even two later and they are still not there.

    Yet if I try to redo the comment I get the message that I already posted that.

    Just out of curiosity I tried posting a comment with a different email address, but the same URL, and those comments are showing up on WP blogs.

    Also the comment luv plugin is working when I try to post so it’s not any type of feed issue.

    Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Default theme (WordPress 1.5 – 2.9.2) or the Twenty Ten theme (WordPress 3.0 and higher) to rule-out a theme-specific issue.

    Will deactivating my plugins and/or changing my theme really affect my comments showing up on other WP blogs?

    No – try asking the owners of these other blogs.

    Sorry, I thought you meant the problem was on your blog. Must have been late when I read that.

    There’s nothing you can do about your comments not appearing on other blogs except contact the blog’s admin. Maybe there’s something wrong with their blog, maybe Akismet thinks you’re a spammer, but there’s nothing you can do about it besides contact them.

    Thank you, I have contacted Akismet and if that doesn’t work I will start contacting all of the other bloggers.
