Update Plugins on WordPress Site Failure removing old plugin Directory
-
Ok half of the problem is posed in the topic title here.
The auto updater complained about certain plugins not being update able.
The exact text was likeAn error occured while updating Breadcrumb NavXT: Could not remove the old plugin
I looked at this message for a few plugins that failed, I had to sign out at the time and didn’t get a screenshot of what was and wasn’t successful , assuming I’d be able to find it again the next day.
Problem is it actually tried to update these without any type of rollback, also it remmoved all files in the BreadCrumb NavXT directory (except the problematic subfolder which had incorrect permissions), thus rendering the original old plugin broken and unregistered and I have been unable to locate a log of which updates have failed since I attempted doing this.
My question is if there is Plugin update history log within the files or in the database somewhere?
Kind of frustrating, I’m on wordpress 3.01 in network version
