Buenas tardes, llevo varias semanas intentando descifrar que le pasa a mi WordPress.

La pagina principal carga muy rápido, pero al entrar en cualquier enlace o en cualquier producto de la tienda, tarda mas de 8 segundos en abrirse.

El admin va extremadamente lento, y para subir un archivo de medios da igual el tamaño, tarda mas de un minuto.

Supongo que puede ser un plugin, pero podría ser también problema del servidor?

Cuando utilizo el plugin query monitor, me da llamadas duplicadas a WordPress y woocommerce, y llamadas lentas al core de WordPress. No se si eso se puedo solucionar de alguna forma

Good afternoon, I’ve been trying to figure out what’s wrong with my WordPress.

The main page loads very fast, but when entering any link or any product in the store, it takes more than 8 seconds to open.

The admin is extremely slow, and to upload a media file no matter the size, it takes over a minute.

I guess it could be a plugin, but it could also be a server problem?

When I use the query monitor plugin, it gives me duplicate calls to WordPress and woocommerce, and slow calls to WordPress core. I don’t know if that can be solved somehow.

From your description, it seems like the problem could be either related to a plugin or your server. However, the duplicate and slow calls to WordPress core and WooCommerce as indicated by the Query Monitor plugin suggest that there might be a plugin or theme causing this issue.

As a first step, please check that your site is running the minimum server requirements to run WooCommerce smoothly.

If yes, please go ahead and check the troubleshooting tips discussed here and see if this resolves the issue: Troubleshooting a Slow Site

If still this did not resolve the issue, then it looks like a third-party plugin or your theme might be causing the conflict here.

For us to investigate this further, can you please try to switch to the default Storefront theme and only WooCommerce plugin is enabled and see if this works?

If so, then this kind of problem is usually caused by your theme or a third-party plugin present on your site. We can run a conflict test to verify this. I’d recommend cloning your site to a staging environment and performing the tests described on this guide without modifying your live site or impacting customers. Many hosts provide staging facilities, so it’s worth checking in with them. It’s also possible to do it using the free WP Staging plugin.

If this was caused by a third-party plugin present on your site, it would be best to reach out to the developers for further assistance here.

I have followed the steps you have recommended.

I’m using W3Cache in my site

I cannot switch other theme because I can’t leave the store in maintenance, I would lose many orders.

Hi, I’m sorry I cannot test the storefront theme yet.

I get “cannot establish connection to the database” error sometimes, at specific times. Could the connection error with the database be due to a plugin?

What could be going on? My website is very heavy, the database is 360MB, and I have a lot of photo files. Or is it because de server?
