    Hi all,

Getting “Failed to subscribe, please contact admin.” when I try to subscribe an email within WP form, however audience sync between WordPress and MailChimp is working and the API is in connected mode as attached. It was working normally before.

But today I found MailChimp plugin is not in connected mode in WP and when I created a new API token in MailChimp and reconnected it again with WP, I am getting as attached the above error message “Failed to subscribe, please contact admin.”Contacted MailChimp and said site is not responding to their API tests, please check with WP IT..however Audience sync is working normally between WP and MailChimp..

That form on your site is not created with MC4WP. So the error is not coming from our plugin. It seems to be a “mailchimp embedded form”

If you replace the form with a form that is created in our plugin I can help you further with that if there is still any error.

Thanks @lapzor Just fixed the issue.

After I created new MailChimp API key I figured out that Mailchimp API key inside MailChimp widget was not matching MailChimp API inside OceanWP (Integration Section). Thanks a lot for your help!
