I had a problem with my wordfence blocking me from logging into my website. So I asked an e-mail to regain acces. I received this:

    Unlock email requested:

Either you or someone else at IP address ………. requested instructions to regain access to the website …..

If you did not request these instructions then you can safely ignore them.
These instructions will be valid for 30 minutes from the time they were sent.

    • Click here to unlock your ability to sign-in and to access to the site. Do this if you simply need to regain access because you were accidentally locked out. If you received an “Insecure Password” message before getting locked out, you may also need to reset your password. Learn More
    • Click here to unblock all IP addresses. Do this if you still can’t regain access using the link above. It causes everyone who is blocked or locked out to be able to access your site again.
    • Click here to unlock all IP addresses and disable the Wordfence Firewall and Wordfence login security for all users. Do this if you keep getting locked out or blocked and can’t access your site. You can re-enable login security and the firewall once you sign-in to the site by visiting the Wordfence Firewall menu, clicking and then turning on the firewall and login security options. If you use country blocking, you will also need to choose which countries to block.

And I clicked on both first and second link (unblock all IP addresses)

Now I want to recover my list of BLOCKED IP’s, because this was a work of a few years. And i do not want to loose it.

Please help me if you can! Thanks alot!

Hi @ronaldo0007, thanks for your question.

If you’ve unblocked all IP addresses, restoring the wfblocks7 table from a site backup should be fine on its own, though it hasn’t been tested extensively.

Generally we consider a manual blocking regime unnecessary as it can be time consuming to keep up with current URLs and IP ranges etc. If you don’t have a backup, Wordfence should still protect you from known “bad” IPs, and some on your list may have been reassigned to other places by now, so I don’t imagine you’ll see a sudden influx of previously blocked IPs hitting your site again.

    Thanks,
    Peter.

Hi @wfpeter , thanks alot for your answer!

My developer asks me the location of this wfblocks7 table. Can you suggest me, please, where this file might be located?

    Thanks in advance!

My developer found that table. Restored it. And now all my block list is back. Thanks for your help!
