Hi @simonevbc,
Only publicly available posts will show in the Post Notification emails which means if you are protecting posts using a user role manager plugin, a membership plugin or the built-in WordPress post status of “private” the post will not show.
Instead of setting up a Post Notification, you should consider setting a series of emails with exclusive content using the Automation’s feature instead, according to each role of new registered users.
You can also manually design standard newsletters and send to specific segments for each membership type.
Would that be helpful to you?
The ultimate member plugin will hide in the front end the post… I don’t think it will put it in private as a status. So it will in fact be published…
I would need when a user with the FOOD role, to receive the automated newsletter of all posts placed in the FOOD category. And not receive the others. is it possible with maipoet to do this? is there a demo to try this feature.
Can the list be made up of people who have a certain role so everyone with the FOOD role is automatically placed on the FOOD list who will only receive news of that topic?
Hi @simonevbc,
Yes, even if they’re not set as “Private” if you are protecting posts using a membership plugin, the posts may not be identified in the Post Notification to be sent.
Other than that, if the posts were public or if this was a standard newsletter sent to segments created for specific roles, this would work.
