• Hi!

I started using the Twenty Twenty Three theme and I really like how customizable it is. Good job!

My problem: When I select an image from the library, it appears blurry as the Feature Image. It seems that the theme uses a super tiny image. (as seen if you right click > open image in new tab).

Surprisingly, when I upload a new image, and use it as the Feature Image, it looks nice and sharp.

For example, take a look at this post: https://blogue.narf.ca/2022/11/starting-on-mastodon… Observe the low resolution Featured image (underneath the title fo the post). The theme actually uses this tiny thumbnail: https://blogue.narf.ca/wp-content/up… (which you can see if you right click > copy image URL.

    What I tried to far:

    • Regenerate all thumnails using the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin
    • Deactivate lazy loading using the Lazy Loading plugin
    • Clear browser cache or use Private mode

I just noticed that the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin has this weird warning: https://i.imgur.com/g5UNofo.png It seems to have found images from the previous Theme I was using (Lovecraft).

Hi @narfnarf – how many posts do you have with featured images that are blurry? It may be quicker to just re-upload them than try to solve the root cause, since it seems to be pulling in those tiny images generated by a previous theme. Let me know if this is feasible.
