    Hello,

I’m coming to you, because following the redesign and the import of the orders of a customer site, some of its customers have lost access to their file and get this error: “Invalid order: Go To Shop”.

This is very annoying, because the error is random. The id of the products are the same and the access works again by revoking and restoring the access to the files. But there are still some orders with this error and I don’t understand why.

Can you help me because I have more than 1000 orders that I have to go through again…

    Thanks in advance

    Hello @meemie0,

I’m coming to you, because following the redesign and the import of the orders of a customer site, some of its customers have lost access to their file and get this error: “Invalid order: Go To Shop”.

I understand after re-importing customers, they no longer have permission to download the files they purchased.

There is no default way to import WooCommerce customers, so if this was done by a third-party extension, then please get in touch with its author about this.

Additionally, here are some suggestions that might help you understand what went wrong:

    1. Have you tried republishing the products and/or flushing your site’s permalinks by navigating to Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks? Once there, click the ‘Save Changes” button (you don’t need to make actual changes). This should rewrite the rules for your site’s .htaccess file.
    2. Was the structure of the downloadable products changed? In other words, are the downloadable products still served from the same URL? If the URL was changed, please make sure to match it to what it was before.

Also, there’s a similar discussion here with a couple of suggestions, so I suggest you take a look at it. :‎)
