    Following an automated WP/Woo install from hosts (IONOS and Fasthosts) we went to complete payments. On both occasions the stripe connect defaulted to US and we are based in UK so went to support with a request to resolve. Some form of “delete” was performed and told to reconnect.

    The result now is that the following message when you invoke “Finish Setup” from payments (via https://connect.stripe.com/setup/e/acct_1N5nK1C7LDleL3IJ/eB1XqPU96Pvz)

    {“error”:{“code”:null,”message”:”The account acct_XXXXXXXXXX has been deleted, so we can’t complete this action. Please let us know via https://support.stripe.com/contact if you think this was a mistake.”}}

    The solutions offered have resulted in no progress at all. Same issue remains.

    We have:

    • Cleared payments cache
    • Disconnected from Jetpack
    • Deactivated and removed payments module
    • Installed payments module
    • Attempted to reconnect

    We also get an “error saving” message when trying to store values in Woo main settings / payments

    We had hoped to use WP/Woo for a number of sites but increasingly cannot see this working as the basics don’t seem to function very well.
