Hi @margaretcarson
To accommodate your client’s request to use a custom payment link provided by their bank, you can install and activate the “WooCommerce Custom Payment Gateway” plugin. This will allow you to create a custom payment gateway within WooCommerce.
Once you installed and activated that plugin, In the “Instructions” field, add the text and a link to the bank’s payment form. For example: Click here to proceed with the payment.
Now, when your customers choose this payment method during checkout, they will be directed to the bank’s payment form. However, you are correct that with this method, you will need to manually mark the order as paid in WooCommerce once the payment has been processed and cleared by the bank.
Please note that this manual process can be time-consuming, especially if you have a high volume of orders. It is essential to keep track of the payments and update the order status accordingly to avoid any confusion or delays in order fulfilment.
I hope this information is helpful to you! Thanks.
Hi @margaretcarson
@shameemreza already explained to you the best solution to integrate the custom payment gateway, If you need help with development or customizations, I recommend taking a look at the services offered on our WooExperts page: https://woocommerce.com/experts/
Please keep in mind, customizations and custom code like this falls outside the scope of our Support Policy and we’re unable to assist with it.
For questions related to development and custom coding, your best bet is to ask on any of these channels for support. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there, too.
