Cannot connect via explicit SSL-FTP to server

Hello, I am also having issues sending to FTP.

I’ve used BackWPup for over a year with no problems, successfully sending weekly backups to cloud storage via FTP. Suddenly this week, all of my sites were unable to connect via FTP.

I spent hours on the phone with my hosting company, ISP, and manufacturer of my modem. No one could find the problem. Now seeing others in this forum experiencing FTP issues, I am wondering if there is a larger issue with the plugin. A bug that may be fixed soon?
