Hi @marcobutz,
By default, WordPress only searches in the title and content of a post – not the tags, categories, authors etc. associated with it. To make WordPress search for those, you have to install a plugin.

@anlino Thank you very much. okay.
But how about if I click on the category the post is tagged. If I click, the corresponding posts are not summarized and displayed.
Can you please clarify?
@anlino to the first issue with the search box: It even does not search headlines in my site. So there might be another issue. Could you please help? The search function is part of a pattern for footer.
Thx
The category tags under a single post does also not function. Is there something wrong with my installation?
Best Marco
Hi @marcobutz,
It sounds like you might have an issue with the Loop template part in your installation. By default, the Query Loop block in it is set to “Inherit query from template”, in which case it displays the posts you would expect when you’re on a search page or archive page (see the demo site). If it’s unchecked, it will be display the same posts on all archive pages.
