    hi. I am having an issue with a product that keeps reappearing in my shopping cart even after I have deleted it multiple times. At first, the product disappears from the cart, but when I scroll down, reload the page, or go in and out of the cart two or three times, it reappears again. Ideally, the product in the cart should look like the second picture, but frequently it appears broken like the first picture, despite my attempts to fix it. Additionally, when I successfully delete the product, the cart still shows one item and displays the message ‘your basket is empty.

    I understand that after removing an item from the cart, it reappears, is this correct?

    Visiting your site for the first time, a product is automatically added to my cart, without me having to manual add anything:

    When trying to remove the product from my cart, I see this:

    Removing this same item again temporarily clears my cart, but refreshing the page adds the item back to the cart.

    I’d like to add that custom code is require in order for a product to be automatically added to the cart when visiting the site. Do you perhaps have any custom code added to your site that could be causing this behavior?

    If not, please can you clarify if any changes/updates were made to your site prior to noticing this issue?

    Also, can you navigate to WooCommerce → Status → Tools, and do the following:

    • WooCommerce transientsClear
    • Expired transientsClear
    • Clear template cacheClear

    Next, please clear your browser cache and then check if the issue persists.

    If this makes no difference, please can you share a copy of your sites System Status Report so that we can have a better understanding of your sites current environment.

    You can find this by navigating to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.

    Once you have this, please share the results in your response here.
