I am currently testing a booster and I’ve noticed some strange behavior. Some elements on my website do not load until I move my mouse over the screen. One such element is the Elementor slider on my homepage, which contains a preloader/spinner that spins indefinitely until I interact with the page.

Another issue is with the sidebar on my shop page. It contains shop categories and filters, and it is set to be “sticky” so that it remains visible when users scroll the page. However, it does not load properly unless I interact with the page.

The third issue I noticed is with the icons in the top bar that show a small indicator of how many products are in the “cart”, “my favourites”, “compare products”. These icons are updated by a theme element called “Wc-Cart-Fragments,” which I assume is a script that ensures the indicators on the icons are not cached. My theme is XSTORE (from 8Theme)

Is there anything I can do to make these elements load properly? I am currently using a free 10Web account, but I am considering upgrading to a pro subscription.

After conducting further tests, I have found that all elements load correctly when I switch the booster to “balanced” mode. However, the issue persists in “strong” and “extreme” modes. I am wondering if there is a way to exclude some JavaScript from the delay so that the elements can load properly. Is there a specific place where I can make these exclusions?

    Hi dear @ciechom Β ,
Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.

We would like to inform you that the delayed JS functionality you are experiencing is designed for speed optimization. It ensures that JS execution is triggered only on user scroll/tap, resulting in faster loading times. The element-rendering scripts won’t execute until prompted by actions from page visitors, so you need to tap/scroll first to get page elements.

While we can disable this delay, please note that it is critical for better website performance scores. We would recommend leaving it in place, as users tend to start interacting with websites right away.

Therefore, there are two options available:

    1. Leaving the delay in place, which means that mentioned items will require first interaction to load, resulting in a better final speed score.
    2. Disabling the delay, which will allow the mentioned items to start loading right away, but the speed score will likely be worse.

Please let us know which option you would prefer, and we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you for choosing our services, and we remain at your disposal for any further inquiries.
    Regards, Mane

    Hi @manegr

Thank you for your response. I understand the reason why it works as it works, but is there any option to exclude some specific scripts which we would like to load anyway ? I mean, there are some scripts which can be deferred but some are too visible/important to be ignored and not loaded immediately.

    I found this: https://10web.io/blog/whats-new-10web-speed-optimizer-ai-builder-form-maker-widget/

there is info “Exclude Plugin JS Files from Defer” even with a screenshot but I first of all I’m not sure if “speed optimizer” and “booster” are the same plugin, secondly I do not see this option in my dashboard πŸ™‚

    PS:
exclusions does not have to be made via GUI πŸ™‚ maybe some hooks or something exist and would allow me to tweak what to optimize and what not ? πŸ™‚

i am having the same issue again on my site. Could you please disable the delay on my site please? I understand that the page speed will be reduced. Thank you

@manegr would be great to hear from you if there is a chance for selective js exclusion from optimization. I’m almost at the end of pro account of different booster kind of plugin and would love to switch to 10web booster but without your clear answer it is difficult to decide.

    Hi dear @ciechom ,
Please, accept my apologies for the wait.

In your WordPress Dashboard, please, head to 10Web Booster section and add &mode=advanced to the end of the URL. Please, find JS tab and you can exclude any JS file from Defer option. Here is a screenshot.

It is important to note that these settings have the potential to cause damage to the website if they are improperly used or adjusted.

As such, I urge you to exercise caution when interacting with these settings. Please do not hesitate to contact us again if you have any questions or concerns regarding the proper use of these settings.

Meanwhile yes, 10Web Booster and Speed Optimizer are the same. πŸ™‚
