Checkout Spins and Leads to Duplicate Orders

Hi, I’ve got a site that is running into intermittent problems with WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway.

Several customers are noticing that the checkout page “spins” after placing an order. We use both Stripe and PayPal Standard, but only Stripe orders seem to have this issue.

Unfortunately, we’ve had several customers try to re-submit the order and have been charged multiple times.

Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a way to prevent duplicate orders? I’m not sure if there’s a communication issue between the site and Stripe or if it’s something else.
