Admin role

    Hello guys. I have done the dumbest error ever. I am currently building my first website on the university server and i don’t know why, I thought i had a higher role than admin. I used WP User Manager to restrict what a admin could do and now i barely can edit my website because of that. Does anyone know how i can correct this error by editing the admin role again which i have no access to ?

    Hi @nicojoco2 ,

    It will be best to contact your hosting provider regarding this, so they can proceed with resetting the administrator’s role from their end.

    Or, you can also use another third-party plugin called User-role editor to proceed in resetting the admin’s role from your end. You can check out their guide about it from here – https://www.role-editor.com/restore-lost-wordpress-admin-permissions/
