Feature Request: Stop Comment Spam

    Hey Wobo, I know I am probably driving you crazy asking for so many feature requests but I was wondering if it is possible to add something that stops comment spammers? sorta like the “Stop Spammers” plugin.

    @scarlywebs I have this type of feature on my radar actually, so, will consider. On what kind of sites do you leave comments open and how many comments are you getting daily / monthly?

    Well, this is mostly for my client who is a news blog writer. I am not sure how many comments he gets per day as he deletes them and I only check his site once in a while. The plugin also doesn’t really show how many come in a day. But I see about 5 to 10 comments every few days.

    I also use WPDiquzz for my comments field reason I had to use another plugin for security since WpDisquzz does not have it besides reCAPTCHA.

    And that’s great hopefully you will consider implementing that, i think would be a great extra security protection against spammers. 🙂
