Where can we see the website in question?
I have been getting the exact same issue. This was first brought to my attention through multiple emails being sent on form submissions, and have routed it down to being related to CF7.
What other plugins and theme do you use on the site?

Despite disabling all plugins except for Contact Form 7, the issue persists.

I have the same issue but i don’t get an error message. Forms are submited with success message. I also have double spinners and receiving doubled informations.
Any idea how to fix that ?
I’m getting the same issue have tried disabling all other plugins and reverted to default WP theme and it still happens there must be an issue with the plugin somewhere never had this before and used this on many websites for a few years now.
Give us the plugins list covering all plugins you use.
@takayukister After my check today, it appears that the issue has disappeared and resolved on it’s own.
I am not sure what happened as I haven’t made any recent changes.
Same on my client’s website all is now working again. Very odd not got a clue what the issue was or how it was fixed I’ve not done anything.
