    Hello,
I am using YOAST and YOAST Woocommerce and I have spotted a big bug that has major consequences on the stock availability checks done by Google Shopping.

When a product with variation is considered as being in stock with quantities filled in the field “Stock Quantity” but the field “Allow backorder?” filled the condition “Do not allow”:

YOAST indicates in the field meta property=”og:availability” content=”out of stock” that the product is out of stock.

This is appalling. Can you fix this BUG as soon as possible?

    Best regards,

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

This is not a BUG from YOAST but a mismanagement of settings on Woocommerce. In the case of variable products, the stock management must not be activated from the “Inventory” tab, the checkbox “Track stock quantity for this product” must not be checked, otherwise the stock management will operate directly from the parent product but not from the stocked quantities of each variation of the product. However, it is advisable to check in the “Variations” tab for each of the product variations the “Enabled” and “Manage stock” checkbox so that the product quantities for each of the product variations are taken into account and that the “Availibity” status taken into account by Google refers to each product variable and not to the parent product.
