Hi @dwibayu
I hope you’re well today!
At the same time when Defender’s captcha feature is enabled – is there any other plugin active on site that also has reCaptcha configured?
If yes – did you try disabling it (so only Defender’s one would be active)?
Is the site (or page with captcha) cached in any way?
Let us know, please.
Would you also, please, share a link to the page in question (or some temporary test page) on your site where we could actually see that failing Defender’s captcha live? This could help diagnose the issue.
Best regards,
AdamHi @dwibayu,
Since we haven’t heard from you for a while. I’ll mark this thread as resolved for now. Please feel free to re-open the thread if you need further assistance.
Best Regards
Nithinim sorry for inactive for a while. For plugin cache i’ve already disabled it but it still not working
Hi @dwibayu
Thank you for response and letting us know about caching.
What about the other questions that I previously asked? Please let us know as it may be related and important:
1. At the same time when Defender’s captcha feature is enabled – is there any other plugin active on site that also has reCaptcha configured?
2. If yes – did you try disabling it (so only Defender’s one would be active)?
3. Would you also, please, share a link to the page in question (or some temporary test page) on your site where we could actually see that failing Defender’s captcha live? This could help diagnose the issue.
Best regards,
Adamthere is no another plugin that also has recaptcha configuration, acitya.telkomuniversity.ac.id/wp-admin
Hi @dwibayu
I noticed you are using the V2, could you test the V3 and see if makes any difference?
If not, could you please create a Staging https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging/ and run a full plugin conflict test following this workflow: https://wpmudev.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Support-Process-Support-Process.gif
Let us know the result you got.
Best Regards
Patrick Freitasno difference between using v2 or v3
Hi @dwibayu
I checked the page in question again and noticed that for some reason reCaptcha scripts are loaded multiple times. I also see that you are using CloudFlare with their “Rocket Loader” feature enabled and that reCaptcha JS coming from Defender is actually cached and minified by CloudFlare currently – which can cause issues.
Would you please try this?:
1. Login to your CloudFlare dashboard and clear all cache there; test the login
2. If the issue still happens: temporarily disable Rocket Loader (it is actually known to cause JS related issue quite often):
https://developers.cloudflare.com/fundamentals/speed/rocket-loader/enable/
then again clear CloudFlare and site’s caches and test again.
There’s a good chance it would start working at this point but if it doesn’t, it will be essential to perform a full conflict test as my colleague suggested earlier, as outlined here
https://wpmudev.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Support-Process-Support-Process.gif
Kind regards,
Adami try to use dns only for the website and it still not working, because if i clear cache or disable rocket loader it will affect all of the website with that domain
Hello @dwibayu,
It should be possible to disable the Rocket loader only for that particular page, where reCAPTCHA is not working properly.
You can do this by applying a page rule in the Rules section. Here’s how to create a rule in Cloudflare:
– just specify the page URL, select “Rocket Loader” in the drop-down list, disable it, and save the rule.
You may also try adding a second rule the same way after that, for the Cache Level to be bypassed on that page.
So far I could not replicate the same issue with Cloudflare and reCAPTCHA on a test site, so I’d assume there might be another theme or plugin setting conflicting with the current setup.
The easiest way to find that out is to perform a full conflict test, as suggested above. This would mean to try disabling other plugins, and enabling a default WordPress theme. If you’re able to login after that, then test it after re-enabling the theme and plugins one at a time, to find the one that was conflicting.
If it’s not possible to do on the live site, then you can create a staging site on your hosting platform, see if you can replicate the same issue there, and run the test. Do this first without connecting the staging site to Cloudflare, in case if you still can replicate the issue.
I hope this helps. Let us know what’s the result that you’ve got.
Best Regards,
Dmytrothere is no conflict with the other plugins or themes and rocket loader is disabled in the url and it still not working
Hi @dwibayu,
Sorry to know that you are still experiencing this issue.
Wouldn’t you mind please share a screenshot of the Defender ReCaptcha configuration so that we could check things further?
We look forward to hearing back from you.

im sorry for inactive for a while. since i can’t upload photo, there is no difference with the configuration that works at website in another panel
Hi @dwibayu,
I hope you are doing well today!
You can upload your full screenshot or the part of the screen with various tools, I recommend using Lightshot or Monosnap. Then you can add this by clicking on + icon and choosing image here or use cloud service links such as ex (https://prnt.sc/J6y92yS9WDqs)
Kind regards,
