I also had the same issue what i had to do is clear the cookies and then it started to work in my staging environment. 2.02 however i am not seeing the issue at all either.
Hi @simplecv
I can tell the Advanced Card Processing is supposed to be enabled from the plugin configuration, but at this time, I am only seeing the PayPal gateway but not the Advanced Card Processing gateway on your Checkout page.
Clearing the cookies doesn’t make a difference for me, though.
In any case, this behavior looks more like it could be related to server caching or script minification as e.g. the query strings are removed from the scripts.
Could you please let us know if the behavior persists for you when you temporarily disable the Optimizer plugin?
Thanks!
Kind regards,
Niklas
Hi Niklas, thanks for your reply (and to my other thread). Actually, I did disable SG Optimizer (both live and in staging during testing), cleared my CDN and server cache then I updated from V2.0.2 to V2.0.4 before I started this thread. The problem still persisted, so I actually think it is maybe not even a conflict with SG Optimizer. We had to temporarliy abandon Advanced Card Processing due to the instabilty issues (customers were calling us and saying that the card form and PayPal buttons are missing) and we are currently using our back-up Stripe gateway. This is why you will not see Advanced Card Processing on our website right now. Thanks for your time.
Hi @simplecv,
Thank you for providing additional information about the steps you’ve taken. To clarify, did you disable the Advanced Card Processing gateway through your currency switcher settings, rather than deactivating the gateway itself? I’m asking because the hosted fields continue to load, which should not happen when the gateway is disabled.
To assist you further, we kindly request that you share a link to your staging site with Advanced Card Processing enabled. You can do so either in this forum thread or by privately contacting our support team. When sending a private message, please include a link to this thread.
Generally, the Advanced Card Processing feature functions smoothly. Issues that have arisen in the past were often connected to JavaScript minification or caching problems, but it’s not always easy to pinpoint without being able to reproduce it.
We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to helping you get to the bottom of this issue.
Kind regards,
Niklas
Hi Niklas,
I have sent the staging details through the Woocommerce support portal.
Best regards
Tommy
Hello,
Since this issue seems to be a local issue (and is resolved by clearing cache on browser), we will mark this thread as resolved.
If you believe there is something more we can do, please let us know in the private engagement you opened with us. Since this public support engagement does not add any solution for other users in our community, I will mark it as resolved.
Kind regards,
Joost
