lost coding

    Can anyone explain why I lose the <div style=”height:20px;”></div> when switching from HTML to visual and back?? Is there something I missed in the set-up?

    I really need to control positions of text and images to create the required look.

    The Visual Editor strips out code. If you want to style it exactly then don’t use the visual editor. If you’d like a preview of what you’re doing then use the preview button on the top right side of the posting page.

    Thanks for your comment. For obvious reasons, is there a setting inside WordPress to switch off the visual editor?

    There is an option “disable the visual editor when writing” within your user options
