• Good morning,

We have been using sendinblue for a long time, so we have a big database.
We are currently in the process of creating a new internal website, and for various reasons, we have not used the same system as on our previous sites.

We have therefore created a Contact Form 7 contact form associated with the Sendinblue Integration plugin.
After connecting the two together via the API key without difficulty, we configured the contact form to add the lead to a dedicated list.

The scenario works well when an email address unknown to our base is added, but as soon as we try with an address that already exists in our sendinblue base, then the scenario does not work (scenario = adding the email to the list + sending automatic welcome email).
On the other hand, we as admin do receive the Contact Form 7 notification warning us that a person has registered…

Have you encountered this problem before?

What is the plugin name? Where did you get it from?

    Hello,

I use a translator, so the sentences are sometimes clunky.
This is not a plugin but the original sendinblue integration in Contact Form 7

    Thanks

Alright. Not adding a contact to Sendinblue’s list when the same email already exists in the list is the expected behavior, not a problem.

    Hello,

“when the same email already exists in the list is the expected behavior”,

I’m not talking about adding the same contact several times in the same list.

    Concrete case :
the brice@isoluce.net prospect exists in my sendiblue database in list A, used on blog 1

During his internet browsing, this user goes from blog 1 to blog 2. He also subscribes to the blog 2 newsletter, uses the form and sendinblue contact system and is connected to list B.

The problem is now, as brice@isoluce.net is already registered in list A, contact-form does not add it in list B.

    Am I clearer?

    Thanks
