Works nicely for me. The options page makes it a lot easier to tweak š
An excellent upgrade thanks. One minor bug with my install – the visibility is showing the value only and no units. I’ve tried reinstalling but without success.
New version is available.
Fixes:
– Fixed Missing Descriptor for visibility. (Jeremiah)
– Removed border attribute from image (Jeremiah)
– Fixed fread error on initial creation of cache file. (Jeremiah)
Same location as before.
Jeremiah,
I’ve tried downloading the .zip file with IE, Firefox, and Opera and it seems to be corrupted. Maybe a repackage is needed?
My webhost had a hard disk failure.
I expect to be back up and running by tomorrow morning.
I will reupload the newest version then.
(around 7:30 am CST)
Sorry about that.

Hi J-
Wondered what happened! I wanted to look at some of your photos again….
Website is back up!
and I reuploaded the WeatherIcon2.zip file.
make sure that you clear your cache before downloading.
(otherwise your browser will just give you the same file you downloaded already)

Fantastic job on this Jeremiah. The admin panel integrations is fantastic. Makes it so much easier to configure than the previous versions. Thanks for all the hard work. I’ve got it running on my “About” page right now with no issues thus far.
No credit to me..
Garett did all the work on this release.
Thanks to “Linda” the German translation is now complete, so if you were needing that, grab the new file.
Same Location.

Jeremiah,
Is possible to have dual system of measurement like Fahrenheit and celsius. The webplace is global, so international visitors can read both system of measurement.
What a great plugin. Thanks so much for your hard work.
My install seems to have gone fine. My icon is updating OK, but my weather info has been saying the same thing since last night (and I know the temp has changed). I have my weather station set correctly.
Thoughts?
Scratch that. And I apologize for my impatience. I got an update now. So, it looks like the update interval is around 12 hours. Does this correspond to the “1800” default for the cache folder?
Rocky:
it is possible, but you have to edit the php file.
there is not an “official” option for that.
it’s not hard to do though, just read through the code and find where it chooses to output one or the other and combine them.
===
Heetmyser:
the 1800 is seconds.. = 30 min.
it’s possible that the weather station you’re subscribed to only updates every 12 hours.

Weather icon is working fine, except 1 thing, the weather image dosnt update!
Everything is correct but the image is always raining (which I know the weather sucks here, but not that bad;) )
If I mouse-over the icon, the ALT tag says ‘overcast’, or ‘cloudy’ but shows a picture of a rain cloud…anyone else had these problems?
I figured it out, I changed it from database cache to File and it seems to be working just fine.
