• Hey guys and gals,

Getting the following error message at the top of my posts. This is not found on the main blog page only when you click on a post.

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at D:\hshome\pnegri\lifetimesolarenergy.com\blog\wp-404-handler.php:1) in D:\hshome\pnegri\lifetimesolarenergy.com\blog\wp-content\themes\thesis_18\lib\functions\compatibility.php on line 7

Please don’t tell me that I have spaces before my <? or after my ?>. I checked my \compatibility.php and my \functions.php for any spaces. I also checked my \wp-404-handler.php page. I also uploaded fresh copies.

I run off of IIS 6.0 and I have a 404 redirect for my permalinks that works just great. I have 3 blog sites with WP 3.01 under the same conditions and the other two blogs are working just fine with the same exact files… This blog is getting the error message.

Somebody familiar with IIS 6.0 permalink 404 redirects and using a Cpanel with HSPHERE with WP 3.01– PLEASE advise. Help would be more than appreciated.

    Still need help.

Switched my WP permalinks back to default http://www.lifetimesolarenergy.com/blog/?p=123
Which is killing my attempts at SEO.

Until I get some help with this, I will need to keep the permalinks in the default mode ~ which is a sin!

I am running on a Shared Windows IIS version 6.0
I pointed my 404 page to my new wp-404-handler.php for permalinks sake.
I followed the advise found in this forum to check for spaces and garbage before and after <?php and ?> . I did it for the following files:
    /wp-404-handler.php
    /thesis_18/functions.php
    /thesis_18/Lib/Functions/compatibility.php

That didn’t work so I then uploaded new copies of each of the above mentioned files.

I then repointed my 404 page on my server to the new wp-404-handler.php via a reset and then went into my WP admin panel and re-saved my permalinks for custom /%postname%/

Still get the following error message only when I click on continue links from the blog main page.

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at D:\hshome\pnegri\lifetimesolarenergy.com\blog\wp-404-handler.php:1) in D:\hshome\pnegri\lifetimesolarenergy.com\blog\wp-content\themes\thesis_18\lib\functions\compatibility.php on line 7

I am at a complete loss. This 404 hack works on my other blogs – so I don’t think that it is the problem. I am pulling the hair out of my head trying to locate the problem.

    Please Help… Thanks.
