    You’ll need access the the webhosting account for the website you are working with- once you are inside the webhosting account you can temporarily deactivate all plugins by renaming the PLUGINS directory to something like plugins-dol. in the webhosting account, look for the file manager area and the WP-Content directory.

    Deactivating all plugins is a good first step to try to gain access to the normal area you work in WP-Admin and do further troubleshooting about plugin(s) that might not be working for you.

    I’m not sure to understand very well. I’m sorry, I’m French 🙂
    I changed the name of my plugin directory and it doesn’t work. Maybe I did something wrong !

    when I try to connect to mywebsite.com/wp-admin I have another error message …
    Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function is_plugin_active() in /htdocs/wp-content/themes/greeneeriochild/functions.php:15 Stack trace: #0 /htdocs/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(308): remove_wpseo_title_rewrite(”) #1 /htdocs/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(332): WP_Hook->apply_filters(NULL, Array) #2 /htdocs/wp-includes/plugin.php(517): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #3 /htdocs/wp-settings.php(617): do_action(‘init’) #4 /htdocs/wp-config.php(125): require_once(‘/htdocs/wp-sett…’) #5 /htdocs/wp-load.php(50): require_once(‘/htdocs/wp-conf…’) #6 /htdocs/wp-admin/admin.php(34): require_once(‘/htdocs/wp-load…’) #7 /htdocs/wp-admin/index.php(10): require_once(‘/htdocs/wp-admi…’) #8 {main} thrown in /htdocs/wp-content/themes/greeneeriochild/functions.php on line 15

    is this the name of your active theme? greeneeriochild

    try this:

    You’ll need access the the webhosting account for the website you are working with- once you are inside the webhosting account you can temporarily deactivate the active theme by renaming the active theme’s directory to something like theme-old. in the webhosting account, look for the file manager area and the WP-Content directory.

    Deactivating the active theme is a good step to try to gain access to the normal area you work in WP-Admin and do further troubleshooting about themes(s) that might not be working for you.

    be sure you have on of the default WordPress themes installed in your Themes folder ex. twenty twenty theme
