The Best I’ve Found

Duplicator is aweome! I’m not sure how many backup plugins I’ve tried over the past year, including adding the site codeguard with Bluehost and losing everything after a plugin install.

I haven’t used the restore as of yet but, but I successfully cloned the site to another domain. It was pretty simple once I setup a new database and provided the details. Love this and would recommend to anyone. It’s as simple as creating the package which creates 2 files, the installer and a data file. Upload the files and open the Installer.php and make sure you have a database setup and you’ll be rockin in no time. Your webhost can easily help you with a database setup if you get lost in the process.

I assume that I could use this package to overwrite the original if it crashes. If not I can now open the pages that took hours to create, copy and paste to a new WP Install. Either way beats starting from scratch every time the site crashes.
