I am using this plugin for the first time and put in the shortcode in a paragraph block to hide certain parts of the content from non-administrators. It works as intended, except it adds an unexpected line break to that section, and I cannot tell how or why that is from looking at the code. Can you tell me if this is expected or if there is something I can change here to prevent this?

    Hi @jstraete

Thank you for getting in touch.

That is the default behavior. Content Control adds a new set of HTML div, and puts the remaining links with restrictions (Admin, Archives, and Commission) in the div. It will move at the bottom.

You’ll need custom CSS to style the layout. As this is out of scope, you might need a developer to help you with this.

Another you can use is the User Menus plugin. This is also our plugin.

You can update the HTML menu items as a WordPress – Menu, and shows/restrict base on user role, logged-in or logged-out users.

To learn more about User Menus, please refer to this link:

We hope that helps. Let us know if you have questions.

    Hi @jstraete

I’m going to mark this as resolved, as we haven’t heard from you in a while.

Feel free to create a new thread if you have any other questions.

    Thank you!
