Sidebar and display of a specific category of events

    I am using the free version of Events Calendar 6.0.10 on CMS WordPress 6.6.1. with CMSMasters Content Composer extension.

    In the sidebar “List of events” I cannot insert a list of 1 category of upcoming events, only a list of all upcoming events. How to set up a calendar with the option to add a list of a specific category of events to the side panel?

    Hi @finokorecko

    Thanks for reaching out. Let me help you with this one.

    If you’re using the “Events List” widget for your sidebar, then I am afraid the filter feature is only available when you have The Events Calendar PRO installed and activated.

    However, your desired use-case scenario may be possible with some custom coding, but if you decide to give that a try, please note we cannot provide full support for custom implementations like that.
