• hello,

i inherited the administration of a blog that came with no instructions or anything. im trying to find the location of 2 pages:

    1) when a blog is posted wordpress automatically sends it through email to subscribers. where can i find this email template to then possibly edit.

    2) where can i find a list of my followers and/or subscribers?

I’m using wordpress’s own ‘nisgard’ template. none of my installed plug-ins relate to either of the topics ive asked about. yoast, google analytics, plug-in that allows for the use of the classic text editor, anti-spam. its pretty bare.

i’ve tried looking through all of my appearance and general settings to no avail so im not sure if using a wordpress default template is really limiting my abilities or im just glossing over something. any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

No, that wouldn’t be WordPress itself doing this. WordPress doesn’t have such a feature by default.

It’s a 3rd-party plugin installed on the site doing this.

See above. Whatever 3rd-party product is handling the post-to-email will also be handling the subscriber database.

I’m using wordpress’s own ‘nisgard’ template.

This is also a 3rd-party product but distributed through the WordPress themes database. It’s not developed by the WordPress project, and doesn’t come with a default installation of WordPress.

If you can list ALL your installed plugins and share your website address, I might be able to figure this out for you.

Well, that makes more sense now. i though it may be jetpack but im not very familiar with it yet.

Here are the plug-ins currently enabled:

ACF Content Analysis for Yoast SEO
    Advanced Custom Fields
    Akismet Anti-Spam
    Classic Editor
Google Analytics for WordPress by MonsterInsights
    ImageMagick Engine
    Jetpack
    Photo Gallery
    Yoast SEO

    Thanks.

From your list of plugins, only JetPack has this feature.

Note that JetPack is a WordPress.COM product, and requires a JetPack/WordPress.COM account to activate and use its features. The subscriber database can also be accessed from the linked WordPress.COM account.

If the feature is currently working on your site, then you’ll need the WordPress.COM account used to set it up to access the subscriber database!

For further help with this, please go to https://jetpack.com/

    Good luck!
