Change side-column width in "K2 Theme"

    I am using K2 theme in my blog. I am using it with 2 side-columns, so the total width of the page is 950px (body=500px and each side-column=175px)

    What I need to do is to extend the width of the secondary side-column to 250px to accommodate for an ad.

    I’ve been fiddling with the Style.CSS file, but not found out how to do this correctly. Do you know how to extend the side-column width?
