Update failed while trying to update plugin

    Hi there,

    I’m trying to update some plugins. However, it says “Update failed: -1” and “Update failed: Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute”.

    I have deleted the .maintenance file from the root directory and clearly the page cache already but when I try again, the same happens.

    How can I fix this?

    Do you have the plugin Astra Starter Templates installed? If so, it’s blocking updates. Deactivate it, then update it. That will fix the update issues. You can then re-activate it and update your other plugins normally.
