Slider Hook

I am sorry, but Smart Slider 3 doesn’t really have any actions that are intended for external use.

However there are a few filters. If you check our source code and you search for the “apply_filters” keyword you could check all actions where you can hook functions. However please note that, many of those are just general WordPress filters. The ones specific to Smart Slider 3 usually start with “smartslider3”.

But please note that, we are unable to provide support for custom coding and problems caused by them!

Actually you don’t need to do custom coding to achieve that.

You just need to enable the “Text Bar” control, with the “Slide Count” option enabled:

and put the Text Bar control to the same position as the Bullet control.

This way the Text bar could display the active slide index instead of the Slide Title and the total slide count instead of the Slide Description.

If you also want to modify the order then you could achieve that by adjusting the “Stack” value in the Position settings.
