    Hi there,

I’m a satisfied backwpup user for many years on different websites. WPbup allway did a great and reliable great job.

Now, on one of my website I need to recover some pictures. Therefor I looked for the “uploads” directory inside the “wp-content” directory in the last backup. The place where wp stores the pictures. Unfortunately I couldn’t find an “upolads” directory inside “wp-content” backup.

I than took a look into my sites wp backwpup settings and registered that there is a special setting for „uploads „ inside a „files“ tab, which has to be checked. It was unchecked and thats the reason why none of my pictures have been backed up.

I never saw that kind of settings in my other wp instalations. On all my other sites theres just “wp-content” which has to be checked in the wpbup settings and all of its content including the “uploads” content is backed up.

In none of my other backwpup installations I had to activate specially the “uploads” directory to backup the pictures of the site. In none of the other bwpup settings on the other sites it is seperated from the “wp-content” directory.

Any ideas what’s causing the strange behaviour of this bwpup settings ?

    Chris

The uploads folder always in Backup uploads folder section in your job -> Files tab

In the next time, please make sure to also enabled backup uploads folder ^^
