Hi there! I’ve run into a couple questions I can’t find answers for in the Yoast articles or on Google. I’ve linked to a screenshot of the red and orange results I’m receiving on a product listing, linked here and below. I have built my website using Elementor so that might be effecting some of the below items, just for awareness. https://snipboard.io/1jvd9n.jpg

    – Outbound Links: Because this is a product listing, I don’t necessarily have anywhere else to link to. Is this going to actually effect my SERP ranking?

    – Internal Links: I have links to similar products on every product page. Is this what Yoast is searching for in regards to “Internal Links”? I’m guessing it’s not reading this part of my site since I added those links via Elementor? Can you confirm?

    – Keyphrase In Introduction: I have input the keyphrase in the product description in WooCommerce early in the text. Can you help me understand why it’s not recognizing this?

    – Text length: I’ve input 97 words in the product description in WooCommerce. Can you help me understand why it’s not recognizing any words/text?

I’m thinking maybe Yoast is recognizing my site moreso as a blog, as oppose to an E-Commerce site possibly?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi Maybellyne, I do not have Premium and the features mentioned are on the free version. I was sent here by Yoast support to post my questions because I emailed them and they instructed me to post here. Please advise

    Hello @sweetandsaucydesigns

Thanks for the clarification. If I understand correctly, you want to edit your product ages in Elementor while taking advantage of the Yoast SEO integration.

First, it’s not possible to directly edit a product via Elementor. For new products, you need to create a single product page template which is reused for subsequent products. However, at this time, the Yoast SEO content analysis doesn’t work with the Elementor templates but works on normal Posts and Pages. This simply means you cannot directly edit your WooCommerce products via Elementor and then use the Yoast SEO integration.

We have an issue report with our developers to add support for Elementor template pages.

    Hello @sweetandsaucydesigns

As an addendum, I just discovered it’s possible to edit WooCommerce product pages, but you need to first add the Products custom post types to the list of post types that can be edited in Elementor. Navigate to WordPress > Elementor > Settings > General and check the box next to Products, then save changes. You can then proceed to edit the product pages and take advantage of the Yoast SEO integration.

    I hope that helps.
