Hello @georgebr
Thanks for reaching out about your product categories in breadcrumbs. First, ensure that you’ve implemented the Yoast SEO breadcrumbs on your site.
Next, provide a product URL to put some context into what you have described. Also share a screenshot of the Product categories selection in the sidebar when you go in to edit the product.
Thank you for answer. I have breadcrumbs applied on the website. I’m using the GeneratePress theme and it’s set up with the recommendation:
https://blogpioneer.com/breadcrumbs-generatepress/
Can you please specify the procedure. Where exactly to enter the URL. I don’t understand “Also share screenshot of product category selection in sidebar when you go to edit product”. Can you please elaborate or send a screen? Regards George
Thanks for folloing up @georgebr
Please share the URL of the product where breadcrumbs do not appear in subcategories.
I meant a screenshot of the categories you’ve set for the product. See screenshot.
Thank you for your message. I already set it up and it works. I still have a question. This works for individual products. Is it possible to do this in bulk retroactively? Thanks. Best Regards George
Hello @georgebr. The Yoast SEO plugin generates breadcrumbs based on your site structure. For products assigned to categories and sub-categories, the breadcrumbs are applied accordingly.
You should assign the products to category and sub-category in bulk via the Products overview page. This should retroactively generate the correct breadcrumbs
Thank you for your message. I already have categories and subcategories set up. Old settings cannot be applied retroactively in Woocommerce with breadcrumbs. This can only be set for new products. Damage. Regards George
