At Settings/Permalinks in your admin panel, what do you have for “Common settings,” “Category base,” and “Tag base?”
Hi James, that was it.
I had it as /http:/justmoody.com/category/post-name
I changed it to /category/post-name
That fixed the extra code, but the comments are still not working. It’s refusing to fill in the category and post name information, whereas the other pages are fine. If I change the permalinks back to default, everything works fine. I’d prefer to have the “prettier” titles, but if I can’t get it, I’ll just deal.
Any ideas?
Those aren’t permalink structure tags. Try this instead:
/%category%/%postname%
That did it. Thanks so much for your help!

I had originally posted my WordPress site in a separate folder, entitled “blog” (making the URL blog.justmoody.com). I liked WP so much I decided to merge the blog site with my regular site.
I followed all of the instructions on how to transfer WordPress over, and it worked great, with one exception. The links used to allow people to leave comments are like this:
justmoody.com/http:/www.justmoody.com/category/post-name
Because of this, it goes to a page that says “Oops! Your link doesn’t work.” You can’t view any of the older links that were there as well.
Any idea how to pull the first part of that link off?
