I just installed WordPress 3.0.1 on my local server and on my webhotel.

What is strange is that when I add a child category on my local server wordpress adds <ul class=’children’> to the html, but when I add a child category on my local server wordpress does NOT <ul class=’children’> to the html.

How come? And how do I fix this problem? I just made a new theme and child categories does not show as child when I upload it to my webhotel 🙁

Please, please help. From next week I’m going to be away for a month and need to get this fixed before I leave.

  • does this happen with the same theme on both locations?
in the menu? or in the sidebar?
    theme?

a link to the live site might help to illustrate the issue.

Both servers has the same theme and both servers has wordpress 3.0.1.
On one server it adds <ul class=’children’> in categories in the sidebar and on the other server it does NOT add <ul class=’children’> in categories in the sidebar.

It’s like two identical servers, with identical wordpress versions and identical themes.

It’s sooo strange that one server adds <ul class=’children’> in categories in the sidebar and the other one don’t.
I want BOTH to add <ul class=’children’> in categories in the sidebar.
