problem installing .zip themes on ipage

    ok, so basically, i bought shopperpress and wanted to use that theme on my site, i tried FTP copying the files over but it tells me that i have broken themes :\

    Broken Themes

    The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.
    Name Description
    atahualpa Stylesheet is missing.
    classic Stylesheet is missing.
    default Stylesheet is missing.
    holistic-teahouse Stylesheet is missing.
    shopperpress Stylesheet is missing.

    it doesnt show any of the stuff i uploaded via FTP at all, no plugins or themes it DOES show it when i look at the ftp but not on the dashboard…

    SO, i tried installing plugins/themes via uploading a .zip file, didnt work for plugins OR themes. i changed the permissions via FTP as well to 777 but nothing so far, i get the usual

    The uploaded file could not be moved to /hermes/bosweb/web057/b579/ipg.ineedcarpartscom/ineedcarparts.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08.

    message 🙁 any suggestions?

    THis is hosting via Ipage by the way so if anyone with ipage hosting has solved this problem, do let me know.. thanks!

    edit: so looks like FTP didnt copy all of the files over, i’m going thru the grueling slow process of uploading the themes via FTP right now and will try again in a little

    re-uploading via ftp didnt help 🙁

    did it work for you??? i bought a similar theme and have no clue how to upload… pretty frustrating that there is no LIVE tech support

    Is there a 7 year old out there who wouldn’t mind helping me as well? Similar issue with iPage. Not clear how to create the file structure that I should ftp my template into…

    sorry for being vague, I’m completely new to this.

    I used iPages free WP templates but found one outside of their choices that I like much better. Just don’t know who to install it.
