I’m looking at ProfileGrid, and specifically the WooCommerce Subscriptions integration looks really positive for my application, but I’m trying to see what facilities there are to build a search form for users in ProfileGrid groups.

For example, if I put users into one or more group by profession, or geography, can I build a search form where other anyone, or users with access can search by name, profession, or geography? For example – Smith, Programmer, Ontario? Can I mark certain users as private so they don’t show up in search, but still can be members of a group?

    Hello @ssmithalignsoftcom,

Thank you for writing to us.

Plugin has a shortcode [profilegrid_users] to display the users directory. it has feature to filter the results with multiple fields. You may display the custom fields on search page by referring the following steps :

    1) Login to the WordPress dashboard and go to the ProfileGrid menu.

    2) All Groups will be listed here, then go to the “Group Registration Form” of a group card for a group.

    3) Next you will see the list of fields for that group. You can edit, delete or add fields from here.

    4) To show fields on the search page, enable the option “Add to Filters” in field settings.

For more details on search feature, please visit the link: https://profilegrid.co/advanced-frontend-user-search-in-wordpress/

In order to hide a profile on search page, configure the option “Hide My Profile From Groups, Directories and Search Results” to yes by editing a user profile from dashboard. Users may also configure this from settings on profile page in front end.

I hope this helps, let us know if you have any other questions.
