Hello Steve, how did you fix this problem? I looked around your site and at least the text from your contact form can be copied. It would be great if you could help me! Thanks
I never managed to remove the copy protection. It still a mystery as to why you can’t right click!

Hello @steheap, @frauleinanya and thank you for your question
There is (for sure) no permanent change on your website by our plugin, once deactivated, you must be allowed to select text and do right-click normally
But there are 3 caching levels you must sure to clear before the deactivating process takes effect
1- Cache by caching plugins must be cleaned
2- The cache by your web hosting provider must be cleaned (in most cases it will automatically be cleared after some hours)
3- The cache by your browser must be cleaned from your browser settings
If you still face any issues after doing all the above methods, please tell us
Thank you
Thanks so much for replying! I couldn’t see how your plugin could still be in effect after it was deleted! I do recall a lot of issues when I first tried to block right click but I can’t now recall exactly what I did, which doesn’t help troubleshooting. Your caching suggestions are important, and I just purged my Cloudfare cache. I also confirmed that I have no other plugins running that are designed to stop right clicking. What is odd is that even new posts written in the past week have right click protection on them. Here is one example: https://www.backyardimage.com/photographing-the-ain-dubai-and-jumeirah-in-dubai/
I don’t expect you to waste your time as your plugin is now deleted, but it is certainly foxing me how I ended up with right-click protection with no obvious reason!

After checking your website
You are seem to be using (NextGEN plugin) And this plugin has an addon called (Image Protection)
Here is its description from its official website
Image protection disables the ability for visitors to right-click or drag to download your images in both the gallery display and Pro Lightbox views. It gives you complete freedom to display your work without worry. You can also choose to protect all images sitewide, even outside of NextGEN Gallery.
Please disable it and check
Thank you
Yes, I do have that! I thought any settings would just apply to galleries, but there is a built-in site wide image protection and right click protection also available in the other options and I had that set to provide the protection. I can now activate or deactivate that setting and have control back over my site!
Thanks so much for helping with an issue that had nothing to do with your plugin (which I did find easy to use, by the way!)
Steve
