I use WordPress and the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin. There has been a problem with the plugin for 3 days. It leads to a Fatal Error. As a result, the products are not transmitted correctly and it is no longer possible to edit the product in the backend.

I’d like to understand your site properly, please share your System Status Report that you can find via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

From what I gather, the issue started upon updating to the 3.0.9 version. Correct?

Could you go ahead with utilizing the WP Rollback plugin, for temporarily switching to version 3.0.8, and see if the issue persists, please?

Hello @faehrliebe, Thank you for your patience. I looked into your System Status Report (SSR) and I think the plugin Product Designer by PickPlugins could be the reason for this issue. Can you please deactivate this plugin and try again?

The reason is that our plugin uses the global $post to fetch the product data using wc_get_product. The error that you are facing is thrown only when the global $post object is overridden or set incorrectly.

This could happen when a third-party plugin overrides the $post object. From your SSR, the Product Designer by PickPlugins plugin could be the one doing that.

If deactivating Product Designer does not work, I’d recommend performing conflict testing which is to de-activate all other plugins except WooCommerce and Facebook for WooCommerce and switch the theme to WooCommerce’s default Storefront theme.

Let us know how this goes.
