• I was trying to edit functions.php to add shortcodes and I guess I did something wrong. Now I can’t even get into the file to edit it. I get this error message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/astrofix/public_html/AstroFix.net/wp-content/themes/therapy/functions.php on line 25

How can I get into the file to fix it? I’ve tried going into functions.php in the cpanel but I don’t see the code I added.

I’m not a programmer. My blog is not showing up and I can’t get into the file to fix it.

    Please help. Thank you!

  • Try downloading another copy of the theme to your computer, extract the original functions.php file and upload it to your theme’s folder using FTP.
