How to install a plugin?

    Hi, this is my first post here (I think). I am sure this is something trivial but I was not able to find it when searching the forum.

    I just uploaded the upload.php file from blueblurry.com.

    I uploaded it into the /blog/wp-content/plugins folder

    I refreshed the /wp-admin/plugins.php in the browser and saw a new entry in the plugins list, however, its description is just ‘) ?> and it has no plugin title and version, just the link to activate.

    How do I properly install a plugin?
