Scan Stage Failed — AGAIN

Hello — Here is the error: SCAN STAGE FAILED. It’s running WordPress version 6.1.1 and WordFence 7.8.2. The failed stages are SERVER STATE, FILE CHANGES, MALWARE SCAN, VULNERABILITY SCAN and USER & OPTION AUDIT.
I checked the topic and completed the recommended steps posted below. But there is still a problem. Here are the last few lines of the Log file:

Please let me know if you can help. I have deleted and reinstalled WF several times with the same result.

Here are the troubleshooting steps I took:

To troubleshoot the scans please follow these troubleshooting steps below… but unfortunately there is still a problem.
- Stop the existing scan if it is still running (The “Start New Scan” button turns into a “Stop” button while the scan is running).
- Go to your Wordfence > Scan > Manage Scan and locate the “Performance Options” section. Set “Maximum execution time for each scan stage” to 20.
- Click to “Save Changes”.
- Go to the Tools > Diagnostics page.
- In the “Debugging Options” section check the circle “Enable debugging mode”.
- If “Start scan remotely” is checked, uncheck this option.
- Click to “Save Changes”.
- Start a new scan on the Scan page.
- If the scan fails again, copy the last 20 lines or so from the Log (click the “Show Log” link) once the scan finishes and paste them in the post.

Hi @mpaiello, thanks for letting me know what you’ve tried so far and sorry to see you’re having this issue.

As I can see your last “Scan Completed” message came on 20th December, we could be looking at something that changed since this date like a possible conflicting plugin install, or a setting. However, I would first try the steps under “Scan process ended after forking” on this page as something like memcache could be an issue despite plugin reinstall attempts: https://www.wordfence.com/help/scan/troubleshooting/#scan-process-ended-after-forking

Let me know if you try any of the other tips on that page and if anything changes regarding the messaging you’re seeing.
