Is there a way to sort sub-categories by number correctly? I have a category for trailer brakes that are classified by weight.

The category sorts them numerically, but fails to sort by the numbers correctly by value. It currently places 10,000 above 2,000. In reality is should sort by value, not just the beginning digit.

Considering this menu is created in a sidebar widget, I tried playing with the options available to me there, however it does nothing to fix this issue.

Is there a different plugin I could use to help sort this correctly? It isn’t only in this menu, there are others doing the same thing.

Is there code I can alter to sort this correctly?

Categories can be reordered by dragging and dropping – this order is used by default on the front end whenever the categories are listed. This includes both widgets and the category/subcategory views on product pages.

I have tried the drag and drop method, sorting them as they should be however the sub cats do not change their order when shown on the site.

    Hi @ecros ,

I have checked your site https://huskytrailerstx.com, and am able to see that the subcategories are being displayed in ascending value, as seen in the screenshot below:
