Jetpack Boost: Failed to generate Critical CSS

    I have no idea what is wrong here or how to fix it. My Jetpack Boost has a error message….

    Failed to generate Critical CSS

    Hmm, looks like something went wrong. We’re still seeing an unexpected error. Please reach out to our support to get help.See error message

    Jetpack Boost couldn’t verify this page:

    • (its the admin login for my website as I have not even launched it yet)

    What to do

    Please follow the troubleshooting steps below for the page.

    1. Visit the page.
    2. Verify that the content displayed is a part of your WordPress site, and not an external page managed by a different system.
    3. Try again to generate the Critical CSS.

    Not sure how to verify that the page is mine but I did login to it and then went to Jetpack Boost in Dashboard controls and it is still coming up with this error code for Critical CSS. I’ve refreshed it, tried again, still not sure what to do. Also, what does “Critical CSS” even stand for and what is it? Sorry, totally website-building-newbie here…

    Critical CSS is a technique that extracts the CSS for above-the-fold content in order to render content to the user as fast as possible. This is a complicated process and Jetpack Boost handles it automatically. If you want to learn more about Critical CSS, this is a good resource:
