When creating an order via WooCommerce in the CMS. The “customer” dropdown seems to populate with user details, not customers details (as in the details listed under the customers menu). I expected it to load the customers from the customers data. I also don’t want my shoppers to create a user account. There will be returning customers and I would like to load in their billing/shipping information from the customers data.
How can I load details from the customers data into an order when creating them from the “Add new order” screen?

Additionally, I’d like to understand your site properly, please share your System Status Report that you can find via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

Meanwhile, on my personal site, this is what I’m seeing on my end. When searching for customer data, the format is as follows: Customer Name (#Customer ID - email address)

I also make orders for some customers, when I am repeating an order for a customer I would like to select that customer’s (not a user) detail to auto-fill the address, billing address and other order information. The order may not have the same products on it, but it will need to have the same customer information.
The question is on your personal site is the “New User” a customer (made an order without a user account) or a User (made an order but HAS a valid user account) ?
New User is a customer that created an account upon checkout on my site.
My customers don’t make user accounts when making an order.
Since your customers don’t create user accounts upon checkout, then, they will be treated as Guests on your site. In this case, their data won’t be picked up when creating a manual order since only registered users will be.
I tested this on my personal site, and placed an order using Guest User 3, and it is not being searched when creating a manual order:

I also make orders for some customers, when I am repeating an order for a customer I would like to select that customer’s (not a user) detail to auto-fill the address, billing address and other order information. The order may not have the same products on it, but it will need to have the same customer information.
In this case, you need to create the customer’s account under Users > Add New, fill up the following details, click Add New User. Once created, update the newly created account with their Shipping and Billing Address.
Then, you can now search for this customer’s data when creating a manual order. Their details will be pre-filled once selected.
